HEALTH DEPARTMENT

SR. NO. 109. (CASE NO.219-RC/2014) RECRUITMENT TO (01) PERMANENT POST OF PROFESSOR OF PAEDIATRIC HAEMATOLOGY (BS-20) IN THE PUNJAB HEALTH DEPARTMENT.

QUALIFICATION:
a) MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC.
Registered with PMDC.
The following postgraduate qualification :-
i) FCPS/ MRC Path/ Diplomat American Board / M.Phil / Ph.D. or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC in Paediatric Haematology. OR
ii) FCPS/MRC Path/ Diplomat American Board/ M.Phil/ Ph.D. or equivalent qualification in the related subject of pathology with one year experience after postgraduation in Paediatric Haematology in an institution recognized by PMDC.

b) Three years teaching experience as Associate Professor in the relevant subject or an equivalent position recognized by the PMDC;
Provided that the total teaching experience as Assistant / Associate Professor is not less than 08 years
OR 09 years in the subject in a recognized institution and atleast 05 research papers published in standard medical journal recognized by the PMDC while working as Assistant / Associate Professor.

PAY: BS-20
AGE: 35 to 55 for Male candidates = 55 years and 35 to 55 + 03 years general age relaxation in upper age limit for Female candidates= 58 years on 09-06-2014 as per Govt. of Punjab, S&GAD Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 21-05-2012.

DOMICILE: Punjab.
GENDER: Male, Female & Shemale candidates domiciled in any district of the Province of Punjab.
PLACE OF POSTING: Various Teaching Hospitals in the Punjab.

SR. NO. 110. (CASE NO.252-RC/2014) RECRUITMENT TO (02) REGULAR POSTS OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OBST. & GYNAE (BS-19) IN THE PUNJAB HEALTH DEPARTMENT.

SR. NO. 111. (CASE NO.253-RC/2014) RECRUITMENT TO ONE REGULAR POST OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR CARDIAC SURGERY (BS-19) IN THE PUNJAB HEALTH DEPARTMENT.

SR. NO. 112. (CASE NO.263-RC/2014) RECRUITMENT TO TWO PERMANENT POSTS OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR RADIOTHERAPY (BS-19) IN THE PUNJAB HEALTH DEPARTMENT.

QUALIFICATION FOR SR. NO. 110, 111 & 112:

a) i) MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental council
(PMDC) and the postgraduate qualification of FCPS/ MS/ FRCS/ MRCP/ MD/ Diplomat of American Board in the respective specialty or equivalent medical qualification in the respective specialty recognized by PMDC; OR
ii) MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental council (PMDC) and the postgraduate qualification of FCPS/ MS/ FRCS/ MRCP/ MD/ Diplomat of American Board (General Surgery / Medicine) or any other equivalent medical qualification recognized by PMDC with three years practical experience in the respective specialty in a recognized institution after post graduation.

b) Five years teaching experience in the specialty in a recognized institution as Assistant Professor or equivalent position recognized by PMDC with atleast 3 research papers published in a standard medical journal.


SR. NO. 113. (CASE NO.254-RC/2014) RECRUITMENT TO THREE REGULAR POSTS OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR ANAESTHESIA (BS-19) IN THE PUNJAB HEALTH DEPARTMENT.


SR. NO. 114. (CASE NO.262-RC/2014) RECRUITMENT TO THREE PERMANENT POSTS OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR RADIOLOGY (BS-19) IN THE PUNJAB HEALTH DEPARTMENT.


QUALIFICATION FOR SR. NO. 113 & 114:

a) MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) and the postgraduate qualification of FCPS/ MS/ FRCS/ MRCP/ MD/ Diplomat of American Board in the respective specialty or equivalent medical qualification in the respective specialty recognized by PMDC;

b) Five years teaching experience in a recognized institution as Assistant Professor or equivalent position recognized by the PMDC with atleast three research papers published in a standard medical journal while working as Assistant Professor.

SR. NO. 115. (CASE NO.261-RC/2014) RECRUITMENT TO FIVE (INCLUDING ONE POST RESERVED FOR WOMEN) PERMANENT POSTS OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR PHYSIOLOGY (BS-19) IN THE PUNJAB HEALTH DEPARTMENT.

QUALIFICATION:

a) MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental council (PMDC) and the following postgraduate qualifications in the subject :-

D.Sc, Ph.D., M.D., M.Phil (Pak) or equivalent qualifications recognized by the PMDC.

b) Five years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the subject in recognized institution and atleast 03 research papers published in standard medical journal while working as Assistant Professor.

PAY, AGE, DOMICILE, GENDER AND PLACE OF POSTING FOR SR. NO. 110, 111, 112, 113, 114 & 115:

PAY : BS-19
AGE: 30 to 50 + 5 years general age relaxation in upper age limit for Male candidates = 55 years and 30 to 50 + 08 years general age relaxation in upper age limit for Female candidates = 58 years on 09-06-2014 as per Govt. of Punjab, S&GAD Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 21-05-2012.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Applicants are required to submit ONLINE Application Forms by the closing date which is 09-06-2014 upto 04:00 P.M. Candidates should fill the Online form carefully for which detailed guidelines and instructions have been given on Punjab Public Service Commission's website www.ppsc.gop.pk.. Editing options, to correct any data, will be available to the candidates till 04:00 P.M (office closing time) of last date of submission of online applications. Applications other than ONLINE will not be accepted.

2. Original Treasury receipt of Rs.300/- under head: “C02101-ORGANIZATIONS OF STATE-EXAMINATION FEE REALIZED BY THE PUNJAB PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISION”, will be deposited in any branch of State Bank of Pakistan or National Bank of Pakistan or Government Treasury and receipt number will be mentioned in the On-line Application Form.

3. Correspondence with candidates will be done through E- mail. Candidates are advised to mention their e-mail addresses in the On-Line Application form. Those who do not have e-mail addresses are advised to create e-mail account immediately.

4. Schedule of interviews for the said posts will be uploaded on the Commission's website from where candidates can download their Call-up-letter and information about date, time and venue of interview. No candidate will be informed about the date of interview individually. The candidates should remain in touch with the Punjab Public Service Commission office or visit the Commission's Website www.ppsc.gop.pk for further information.

5. The number of posts may be increased or decreased by the Competent Authority only if no date for written examination is fixed and in case when selection is made only on the basis of viva-voce/interview, before finalization of viva-voce/ interview.

6. Candidates presently living /residing abroad and having Punjab Domicile may also apply.

7. In case of disabled person, Column 20 of Online application form should be filled in mentioning 'Yes' or 'No'. If the candidate is disabled, he/she will have to submit a certificate from Provincial Council for rehabilitation of disabled persons of Social Welfare Department.

8. A set of photocopy of following documents will be required to submit alongwith hard copy of Online application form within 07 days i.e 16-06-2014 after the closing date positively:-

a) Original Treasury Receipt of fee deposited.
b) Matriculation Certificate or in case of 'O' Level, equivalent certificate from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen, Islamabad showing total/ obtained marks,date of birth. Or school leaving certificate showing date of Birth.
c) Intermediate Certificate / 'A' level along with equivalent qualification from IBCC, Islamabad showing total/ obtained marks.
d) Degree of MBBS and Detailed marks of MBBS (1st to final profs.) duly issued by Controller of Examinations showing total/ obtained marks and percentages and postgraduate degree / DMC in the subject. In case detailed marks are not produced then minimum passing marks will be considered.
e) Postgraduate qualifications/Degree/Diploma.
f) Domicile certificate of relevant district of Province of Punjab issued on or before the closing date.
g) In case of Government Servant, the Departmental Permission Certificate (available on web site) duly signed & stamped by the Competent Authority of concerned Department.
h) Experience certificate (specimen available on website) issued from competent authority.
i) Valid C.N.I.C.
j) Disability certificate, if ' Yes' in Column 20 of Online Application form has been ticked.
k) Passport size photograph.
l) Foreign qualification(s) must be recognized by P.M.D.C and declared equivalent by the Q.E.D.C of the Health Department.
m) Valid P.M.D.C registration certificate showing all medical degrees / postgraduate qualifications therein.
n) For the post of Professor, only 5 research papers are required, however candidates may submit maximum 10 research papers in order of priority / quality research paper. No excess research papers will be entertained because there is no mark for excess / additional research papers.
o) For the post of Associate Professor, only 3 research papers are required, however candidates may submit maximum 6 research papers in order of priority / quality research papers. No excess research papers will be entertained because there is no mark for excess / additional research papers.
p) 04 sets of photocopies of research work published in a standard medical journal recognized by P.M.D.C.

Important Note: Only eligible candidates will be called for interview provisionally after detailed scrutiny of applications of candidates. If any candidate is found ineligible in any respect under rules, his/her application will be rejected. To avoid frustration, candidates are advised in their own interest to make sure before applying that they fulfill all the requirement of the rules, and selection criteria as advertised relating to the post before closing date.
